Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts must be submitted using the Online Submission System on the Jdigital portal (http: //jurnal.um-palembang.ac.id/digital) after registering as an Author in the "Register" section. Online shipping procedures can be found at the end of this guide.

Authors must use the manuscript template provided by Jdigital. Writing guidelines and templates can be downloaded at the following address (since Volume 1 Number 1 of 2018):

Manuscript sent to Jdigital must be free from plagiarism and self-plagiarism and examination will be conducted using Plagiarism Checker X with a maximum limit of 25%

Author submission, as well as article processing and publishing, are free of charge. The cost of publication is fully borne by the Jdigital publisher. Readers can read and download full text articles for free.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor);
  2. The manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English;
  3. The manuscript is written with spelling, sentence and paragraph settings that really fit the grammar used;
  4. The manuscript must be written in A4 page size (210 x 297 mm) and with a left margin of 30 mm, a right margin of 30 mm, a lower margin of 25 mm, and an upper margin of 30 mm;
  5. The manuscript must be written in Times New Roman font type with a font size of 11 pt (except the title of the article), one space and in a two-column format (except the article title and author's name). The spacing between columns is 10 mm;
  6. The title of the article is written in the font type Times New Roman with a font size of 12 pt, thick and middle;
  7. If the manuscript is written in Indonesian, use Indonesian words for foreign words or terms. If not found, the terms are italicized;
  8. New paragraphs begin 10 mm from the left border (indent), while between paragraphs do not move between;
  9. The chapters in the text (Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusions) must be numbered in numeric format. The chapter titles are in bold with the Case Title format and are centered without an underline;
  10. The sections are written in bold with the case sentence format and are arranged left aligned and use the first level numbering format using the capital letter format starting from A. The use of sub-sections must be minimized.
  11. Figures and tables are placed so that their position is at the top of the page. Figures and Tables are sent in Times New Roman font with a font size of 10 pt.

  12. Each image must be clear (font size, resolution and line size must be changed clearly);
  13. Each picture must be labeled (below) at the bottom of the picture and numbered Arabic numerals followed by the title of the image, for example as discussed in Figure 1;
  14. Each table must be labeled (Table description) and Arabic numbers with serial numbers at the top of the table followed by the title of the table, for example as discussed in Table 1;
  15. Tables cannot contain vertical lines, whereas horizontal lines are only given in the table title and at the bottom of the table;
  16. Figures and tables and diagrams must be placed according to columns between groups of text or if they are too large, they can be placed in the middle of the page (one column);
  17. Each publication must be written using the Equation Editor in MS Word or Open Office. Images are not permitted to be approved in the script as images;
  18. Reference or quotation uses the IEEE (numbering) format. Quoting references can be written using numbering proposed by square brackets, for example [1]. Quoting more than one reference can be written with divided parentheses, for example [2], [4], [5], [7] - [9].
  19. Citing references using the author's name can be written using the author's last name and citing reference numbers, included in Widianto [2], Widianto and Rochim [3] and by Widianto et al. [4];
  20. Management reference applications, such as Mendeley, Zotero or Endnote, must be used by authors of reference citations and create bibliography;
